I just learned today that my newsletter was chosen as one of the finalists in the Category: “Valuable Content Weightlifting!”
As a marketing channel, email has much more potential than simply presenting sales pitches. In the category of valuable content, the criteria for judging are as follows:
- The content of the email relates to the brand’s product or service without being a direct sales pitch.
- The content of the email provides a measure of education or entertainment.
- The content of the email provides value readers won’t find elsewhere.
